5-Day Tanzania Safari to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Manyara

Program: You are pick-up from your lodge in Arusha and depart to Tarangire National Park for a game drive while carrying lunch boxes. Once you finish the game drive, we will transfer you to the lodge to relax, have dinner and have your overnight stay.

The name of the park originated from Tarangire River that winds its way through the parklands which is the only source of water for wildlife here during the dry season. Also the park is well-known for its large elephant herds, Giant Scattered Baobab Trees and Tree-Climbing Africa Python. You will see a variety of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna. And you will get a chance to see a lion stalking its prey and leopards relaxing in the trees above. Once the game drives are complete, we will drive you back to your lodge to relax, have dinner and stay overnight.

Program: After breakfast, you will depart to Serengeti National Park for a game drive and enjoy lunch in a suitable place inside the park. We will continue the game drive activity in the afternoon before reaching the camp.

Serengeti National Park is well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest depending on the rainy season gathering together for calving season. However, be ready to see resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions fulfilling their role in the circle of life.

Program: After breakfast, we continue with full day game drive within the park while carrying lunch boxes. Exploring the part of Serengeti where you will be able to spot good number of animals with the help of guide, in the afternoon we will enjoy picnic lunch on of the best picnic site within the park. After game drive you will be transferred to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight

Serengeti National Park is the park located in northern Tanzania and is world heritage site occupying the area of around 15,000 square kilometers, with over 2 million herbivorous, 4000 lions, 1000 leopard, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species, this area is with massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the dry season. However, the North Serengeti also supports an abundance of resident wildlife including lion, elephant, hippo, giraffe, crocodile and the rare oribi antelope.

Program: After breakfast early in the morning we will drive out of Serengeti with in route game viewing, while carrying lunch box, reaching to the gates of Ngorongoro conservation area will drop inside the crater where you will be able to see a lot of animals living within the crater.

Ngorongoro crater is among the UNESCO world heritage site and constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and is one of the natural wonders of Africa which was formed after the explosion which occurred approximately 2-3 million years ago. With the presence of about 30,000 large mammals resident all year round such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos and many varieties of birds such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Be ready to see many animals here within a few times.

After game drive we will drive you to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stays.

Program: After breakfast your guide will pick you up and then drive up to Lake Manyara national park to enjoy game drive with picnic lunch, and then once we finish our game drive we will drive you to Kilimanjaro Airport ready for your Air transfer back home to another destination.

Lake Manyara National Park covers an area of only 330 sq km (127 sq miles), of which up to 200 sq km (77 sq miles) is made up of the lake when water levels are high. Lake Manyara is an excellent place for bird watching and a good area to find elephants, Hippo, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos and even a legendary tree-climbing lion! At some point during your game drive you should get off your vehicle at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos here.
