The Lemosho Route is a less popular but arguably more scenic route to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. It starts at Londorossi Gate on the western side of the mountain and ascends through a variety of different ecosystems, from the lush rainforest to the snow-capped summit. Along the way, you'll pass by some of Kilimanjaro's most iconic landmarks, including the Shira Plateau, Lava Tower, and Barafu Camp.

The Lemosho Route is a seven- or eight-day hike, which gives you plenty of time to acclimate to the altitude. This is important, as altitude sickness is a major risk factor on Kilimanjaro. The route is also less crowded than some of the other routes, which means you'll have more of the mountain to yourself.

Here are some of the benefits of taking the Lemosho Route:

  • Scenic views: The Lemosho Route offers some of the most spectacular views on Kilimanjaro. You'll get to see the rainforest, the alpine meadows, the snow-capped summit, and the Great Rift Valley.

  • Less crowded: The Lemosho Route is less crowded than some of the other routes, which means you'll have more of the mountain to yourself.

  • Plenty of time to acclimate: The Lemosho Route takes seven or eight days to complete, which gives you plenty of time to acclimate to the altitude.

If you're looking for a scenic and less crowded climb with plenty of time to acclimate, the Lemosho Route is a great option. With its stunning views and relaxed pace, it's a great choice for those who want to experience the best of what Kilimanjaro has to offer.
